Band volumes are measured on the fine grid, so they add up to the net above.

5 · Regions

Draw a closed polyline on the difference map: click each corner, Enter to close it, Esc to abandon. Or bring your outlines in from a DXF.

A depth pushes the comparison surface straight down inside the boundary — a slab box, a pavement box, a landscaping strip. Where regions overlap, the one lower in this list wins.

6 · Export

The DXF carries the coloured grid, the band table as a legend, difference labels on their own grid, and any regions. Each band gets its own layer so you can freeze it in CAD. Specks smaller than the setting above are absorbed into the band around them — on noisy survey-vs-survey work that is the difference between a readable plan and stipple.
